I believe that it is crucial to develop a deeper understanding of the impact of machine learning and artificial intelligence on human culture and society. It is also imperative to prioritize the safety of these technologies by design. As part of this effort, I am engaging in research and education on such topics as "Human-Centered AI" and "Ethical AI". At present, I cannot supervise graduate students.
